World Race squad sitting on a volcanic ridge overlooking layered mountains

World Race 2027 · It begins here

Before the nations, there is the fire.

Eleven months. Eleven countries. Your whole life about to crack wide open. But first, you and your squad show up to a field in Georgia, pitch your tents, and meet the God who called you here.

This is training camp

The why

You have been wondering if you can really do this.

If you are enough. If God actually meant it when He started tugging on your heart.

Training camp is where that question gets answered. It is not a checklist or an orientation. It is the night you stop wondering and start saying yes, out loud, with your squad standing next to you.

You will sleep in a tent. You will eat meals our staff cooks for you. You will worship until your voice is gone, sit in teachings that rewire how you see the gospel, and step into activations that prepare you for the field. And somewhere in the middle of it, you will realize the Race already started. Right here. In the dirt.

The honest logistics

Rugged on the outside. Holy on the inside.

01

You sleep in tents

Out under the Georgia sky with your squad close by. It is simple on purpose. The field will ask more of you than this, and camp is where you find out you are made for it.

02

We feed you

Our staff handles every meal. You do not have to plan a thing. Show up hungry, sit down with people who were strangers yesterday, and watch a squad become a family over shared tables.

03

The days are full

Teachings, activations, worship, personal time, and squad time. A rhythm built to equip you, stretch you, and pull you deeper into God before you ever board a plane.

What your days hold

A rhythm that forms you for the field.

Corporate worship

Voices that won't quit

Morning and night, the whole camp lifts one sound. These are the sessions racers describe as the moment heaven felt close enough to touch. Come ready to meet God in the room.

Teachings & trainings

Equipped, not just inspired

Sessions on identity, the gospel, the biblical basis for mission, hearing the voice of God, and walking in forgiveness. Real teaching that hands you the tools the field will demand.

Activations

Faith with your hands

You will practice what you preach before you go. Activations prepare you for cultural immersion, evangelism, and ministry, so the first time you share Jesus overseas is not the first time at all.

Squad & personal time

Your people, and your quiet

Time to meet your squad, connect with the leaders who will walk with you all year, and time alone with God to let it all land. The friendships you make here outlast the Race.

You arrive a stranger to these people. You leave knowing they would follow Jesus into anything beside you.

The moments you'll never stop talking about

Some nights at camp change the direction of a life.

Squad Wars

Where a squad becomes a family.

Loud, ridiculous, all-out fun. Squad Wars is where the walls come down, the inside jokes are born, and you discover you would do anything for the people on your team. The bonds you forge laughing here are the ones that hold you on the hard days overseas.

Squads mid-competition, dirt-covered and laughing, pure chaos and joy.

The Prayer Burn

Watch the old life go up in smoke.

You write down the things you are leaving behind. The fear. The shame. The version of you that played it safe. Then you throw it in the fire and watch it burn while the camp prays over you. Racers point back to this night for years. It is the moment the weight lifts and the call gets real.

Night shot, faces lit by firelight, someone releasing a paper into the flames.

Baptisms

Going under one person, coming up another.

Some of you have never been baptized. Some of you are ready to do it again, on purpose, as the person God is making you into. Either way, the whole camp gathers, and you go under the water surrounded by your new family cheering you into a new life.

Baptism moment, water flying, the crowd erupting on the bank.

"Here am I. Send me."

racers say it was the turning point

Ask alumni to name their most defining moment on the Race, and an overwhelming number point back to the same place: training camp. Not a country. Not a ministry site. The week it all began. Before you ever leave the country, this is where the Race gets a hold of you.

Quick answers

The stuff you're actually wondering.

Where do we sleep?

In tents, on campus, with your squad. Bring your gear and get ready to call a field home for a week.

What about food?

Covered. Our staff prepares your meals the whole time. Your only job is to show up and be present.

What will we actually do?

Worship, teachings, trainings, activations, squad time, and personal time, woven into a daily rhythm built to prepare you for the field.

Will I know anyone?

You will by the end. Camp is where you meet your squad and your leaders and stop being strangers fast.

Do I need to be a Bible expert?

No. Come as you are. The teachings meet you where you stand and the activations help you take your first steps.

What if I'm nervous?

Good. Everyone is. Nervous is what it feels like right before God does something you will tell stories about for the rest of your life.

Your year is waiting

The fire is lit. Will you show up to it?

Training camp is the start of the World Race 2027. Three routes. Eleven countries. One squad that has not met you yet. Say yes.
